The family of George "Geo" Jensen, the Akron man shot and killed in an apparent road rage incident on I76 east in Norton on Wednesday, is pleading for answers.

The suspect is still at large.

Geo's younger brother Tony tells 3News that their family is very close. Now, they're trying to make sense of a senseless act of violence.

"It's been rough and we're just trying to support one another," Tony says.

Tony tells us that he knew something was off when he got a text from Geo's wife Allison saying that Geo hadn't returned home from work yet.

An hour and a half had passed still no word from Geo. The Akron family searched the internet for crash reports and discovered an accident involving a blue Mazda on I76 east.

Norton police say the incident happened around 5:35 p.m. As Geo Jensen was traveling eastbound on the interstate, the suspect in another vehicle “fired several gunshots at the victim’s vehicle.” The Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office says Geo's vehicle came to a stop after it struck the concrete median.
