The 30yearold man arrested in connection with an apparent road rage shooting that turned deadly on I76 in Norton last month is back in court this morning.

Kinard is currently behind held in the Summit County Jail without bond after making his first court appearance in the case on Saturday.

Kinard was arrested last Wednesday in Columbus two weeks after 40yearold George Jensen was shot and killed during the incident on I76 around 5:35 p.m. on May 17.

“The Norton Police Department worked nonstop to gather information, follow up on tips from the public, and ultimately make an identification for this suspect,” Northern Ohio U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott said after Kinard's arrest.
