Update: Some folks are reporting squeaking from the Kevlar. If I had to do it again, I'd use the rubber mounts. Not because of squeaking in my case, but because of how stiff it is. Consider this when you purchase your mounts. If you want to use Amazon, you can click the "Dorman" link below and it'll take you to the front mounts and display the other rubber mounts. Although it should go without saying, please ensure you select the right product for your truck! Do your due diligence.

After breaking down in North Carolina, we had to have the truck worked on for the oil cooler which required lifting the cab. At completion, he told me that the cab mounts were bad and suggested I replace them. I was already well over $3000 so I figured I'd let my mechanic do it when we got home because we needed time to recover the budget. Well, it's time to do it, but my mechanic wanted too much so I researched it and decided to do it myself. After getting into it, I ran into 2 major issues with my 2008 body mount replacement. 1. The two front mounts were seized up and I had to cut them out. 2. The cage nuts on 2 of the body mounts were stripped so I had to resolve that too. This is a video of all of it. Truck and RV maintenance definitely falls into the realm of RVing and if you're not prepared for it, you might as well not even undertake RVing in my opinion.
