In this video I am demonstrating the things that I will be doing to get my puppy ready for the show ring. I'm by no means a professional groomer and this is my first show English Setter, but this still may be helpful to somebody and it's so fun documenting these things. As I mentioned in the video, I will be shaving down her ear pads top to about Midway leaving fringe to frame her face. It will also be taking the hair down from her chin and her neck. cleaning underneath the paw pads will help her have a more stable gait and stance in the show ring. We will also clean out the hair in between her toes and around her nails while also making sure that her nails are nicely touch and file down. eventually we will remove the bulk of her hair from the top of her back and near her tail set.
