Skaya went to the groomers to get washed and had a complete husky meltdown! Everything seemed to be going so smoothly… but when the blow dryer came out, Skaya was beyond dramatic! (HEADPHONE WARNING!)

FYI: huskies are extremely vocal breeds and are notorious cry babies when it comes to water and grooming. Skaya was not harmed nor was she in pain. The groomers did a fantastic job dealing with her dramatics while trying to keep her at ease. I am extremely grateful to them.

You aren’t supposed to bathe huskies more than a couple or so times a year (it can be damaging to their fur)… but since it’s spring time and the snow has melted, Skaya was getting very dirty during her walks and needed a bath! Since it can be pretty difficult to bathe and clean her properly, I decided to bring her to the groomers.

Unfortunately, bringing her to professionals didn’t stop her from behaving like a drama queen! I’m just thankful Skaya was only dramatic for the blowdrying part! Otherwise, I think she did a really good job.
