* Footnote for knitting nerds: Okay, there exist micro circular needles that are teenytiny and smaller than 16", but honestly, those things are crazy. I tried them once and my hands were cramping after fifteen minutes. I find them unpleasant, and I’d much rather work with double pointed needles for my small circle knitting needs. But if you're a daredevil, try out a pair of micro circulars and maybe you'll never need DPNs again. Who knows! Have at it!
