WINTER has come to the MOUNTAINS! Quick video this week to let ya’ll know what we’ve been dealing with in the mountains these past 2 weeks now.

Since arriving outside Durango, we’ve had the pleasure of watching peak fall foliage occur and the first snow fall up in these mountains. Now, that said, we’ve also had the pleasure of waking up to the trailer being 35 degrees (F) because our batteries died in the middle of the night from running the heat via our mini split.

We’ve had over a weeklong stretch of gloomy afternoons which has limited out solar production, but our new generator has kept us going up here at 9,400 ft. That said…it might be time to search for more sun and warmer weather…
