This episode is the "pilot" episode or the very FIRST episode that a TV series gets to film. They brought out millions of dollars of equipment and I got to do an adult version of the kid's game: "Cops & Robbers". And I was the robber. Even better, I got to fire (and get hit by!) a fake gun and die on camera. The series starred the great David Paymer who, sadly, I didn't get to meet or work with. Also, Anson Mount who NOW plays Captain Pike on Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.
