A Southwest Airlines Boeing 737800 registration N8568Z, performing flight SWA3010 from Santa Barbara Municipal Airport (KSBA) to Denver International Airport (KDEN) was cleared for takeoff from runway 25 at Santa Barbara Airport when the captain called Tower controller and said that it was his last flight as an airline pilot. After the takeoff the flight crew reported bird strike and the airplane returned back to airport of departure.
