I'll tell you which bike I think is best for Indian roads then we'll go to the RE showroom and I'll take you through the exact process of buying a motorcycle in India. Including what paperwork you need as a foreigner to do so.

I chose the Royal Enfield Himalayan BS4 because it's the most comfortable and practical Indian made bike for the money. The ABS breaks are extremely sluggish and uninspiring and the motorcycle is severely underpowered... But for me this is fine. You don't want to go be going fast in India the roads are wild here.
