After literally years of hearing all the pleas for black hardware, we have finally launched our black on black leashes. We didn't just stop at the bolt snap, though. All hardware on these (3) new leash options are solid black. ... And honestly, my 18 year old self wanting to “black out” my truck with all the black on black hardware that I could find would be happy, lol.

In truth, the delays were more to do with quality of the hardware than anything else. Traditional black bolt snaps that we were finding never met our standard of testing. They would often break, bend, or the spring to close the snap sucked. That all changes when we found this durable flat black bolt snap, very much identical in size and function as our standard 1 1/4" Stainless Steel bolt snap.

We added black rivets, black Orings, and the black bolt snaps to (3) of our top styles to see exactly how excited our "fans' would be with this new look. For now, the BlackonBlack hardware is an option available with our Standard Obedience Leash w/ ORing, Braided Leather Leash w/ ORing, and our Biothane Dog Leash (also with an Oring). Although we offer multiple lengths of each (4', 5', 6'), all BlackonBlack options are 3/4" wide.

Not only are you getting a clean, sharp look. The significant benefit of black hardware is that it keeps your gear subdued, limiting any glare that typically comes off the brass or stainless steel snap.
