White Afrikaners used to rule South Africa during Apartheid. Since the end of the systematic segregation of race in the early 1990s, they feel more and more threatened. Meanwhile, The government in Pretoria is struggling to provide basic necessities for South Africans. The country is battling high levels of corruption and an economic crisis. South Africa has an official unemployment rate of about 33%, one of the highest in the world.

In this short documentary, we visit the whitesonly town of Orania in the Karoo desert and speak to different Afrikaners throughout South Africa about their views on the current state of the country.
