Last season's LSU women's basketball team made a deep run in March Madness but fell to Caitlin Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes in the Elite Eight. Kim Mulkey's roster has seen some turnover ever since.

Angel Reese declared for the 2024 WNBA Draft shortly after LSU's tournament run came to an end. She was the No. 7 overall pick by the Chicago Sky.

Hailey Van Lith, meanwhile, entered the transfer portal earlier this month. She announced on Friday that she'll be playing the TCU Horned Frogs next season.
Reese responded to HVL's transfer commitment announcement with a heartwarming message for her former teammate.

"proud of you," Reese told Van Lith. "you know what to do & you know i’m always rocking with you!!
It's pretty cool to see how supportive of a teammate and individual Angel Reese. She's faced so much backlash over the past year, but most if not all of it was undeserved.

Fans are getting emotional thinking about Reese and how much she supports those around her, Hailey Van Lith included.
