American Bald Eagles at Lake Jacomo Missouri

Hello everyone,
'Meet the man behind the camera!' in this episode of Eagles of Jacomo.
I haven't used my other camera equipment in a long time so I decided to knock the dust off of some old gear and get reacquainted with it. I was happy with the results. There was a couple of times I could see the birds in the GoPro footage that I was actually tracking with my Sony camera.
I was experimenting with some camera settings on the Sony in this video. I wasn't happy with it. This won't be the best looking video that I have made. Some focusing and aperture issues. I am still an amateur in videography/photograph. I am having a lot of fun trying to figure it all out on my own. It is a far cry from anything I have ever done. I am really enjoying it.
It was a great afternoon/evening to be out on the lake that day filming. There was a lot of activity going on all around me and in the nest. The whole time I was filming the Eagles, there was an Osprey that kept flying into the area. More than once I saw one of the adult Eagles give chase and ran it out of their territory. They fight over the same food source, the fish. As long as the Eagles are feeding the young eaglets, they will not tolerate any competition. In the three hours that I was filming, the Eagle parents brought three different fish into the nest for feeding. With three mouths to feed, and themselves, they will be hunting almost non stop for several more weeks to come.
There is a lot to see in this video, so lets begin:
0:00 I am walking the trail to my filming location
1:04 J2 (male) flies into the nest with fish (#1)
1:28 J2 feeds the eaglets
1:55 J2 leaves the nest / eaglets left alone
2:22 eaglets feeding themselves
2:42 I'm behind the camera filming J2 as he soars by the nest
3:44 J1 (female) flies into the nest with fish (#2)
4:04 J1 feeds the eaglets
4:36 J1 moves to the porch after feeding
4:51 J2 flies into the nest with fish (#3)
5:04 J1 has come off the porch to feed the eaglets the fish that J2 has just flown into the nest. As she is doing so, J2 now moves to the porch.
5:41 J2 flies off porch to go roost in a nearby tree
5:53 I'm behind the camera filming J2 roosting in tree
6:18 J1 still feeding the eaglets
6:35 Last view of the nest, J1 perched on porch overlooking the nest. All three eaglets are well visible
6:56 walking off the trail after filming for the day
To all that read and watch my videos, Thank you very much for your continued support... A very loud Cheers to thee,
Cheers!!
