Ama Yangri Trek is the newly opened hidden gem of the Helambu region. Ama Yangri region is famous among local tourists who love to trek in the Himalaya. At the altitude of 3771m, Ama Yangri is one of the highest peaks around Kathmandu Valley. Ama Yangri is one of the highest peaks around Kathmandu Valley. You can admire the stunning view of Langtang Range, the Annapurna, Manaslu, and even Everest from the peak. And for this very reason, Ama Yangri Trek can be compared to the Poon hill trek of the Annapurna region. Legend has it that Ama Yangri is considered to be a deity who protects the entire Hyolmo valley region.
