Take a look at how to make these simple cat shelves. I'll show you step by step as to how I made this favorite destination within one of our Catios. Adding shelves adds more realestate inside the catio or your home space. Cats love to be perched on a high location to monitor the world around them. This is an Easy way to add a Cat friendly hidaway or perch to any space either home or Catio, let me know if you have enjoyed or tried this project.

* Keep in mind, the top of the bracket was cut 8 inches long because the back shelf was notched to fit around the 4x4 posts. If installed on a flat surface such as a wall, the top of the bracket would have been 4 inches longer. We hope that this does not confuse anyone when making this project.
