This episode of Jack's Country sees Danny Cooper celebrating his 20th New Forest Pony and Horse Drive. It starts at at Danny's home and goes across the forest to Beaulieu Road where they have the pony sales four times a year. After a short break the drive moves on to Brockenhurst via Denny Wood.
The drive started in 1999 with a few friends and now attracts people from all over the country. Debbie Nash came from New Zealand to be on the ride and she explains how she got to love Gypsy Cobs and decided to buy and import four from UK.
The ride always finishes at Balmer Lawn, Brockenhurst where the ponies and their owners enter the river and some even swim in the very deep part near the bridge.
