Remember earlier this year when a grossly overweight house cat named "Sprinkles" made world news? When she was found in a foreclosedupon house in Cape May County, she tipped the scales at 33 pounds about what a 4yearold child weighs. She couldn't stand or roll over. Hank decided to pay Sprinkles a visit just to see how things are going.

Sprinkles was taken in by catrescue charity SOS Sea Isle City Cats and she was immediately put on a strict diet. Michelle Gabriel saaid Sprinkles has lost more than four pounds, and though she is still quite heavy, she gets around much better. She can stand, roll over, climb stairs and even bathe herself, Michelle said.

Hank was taken with Sprinkles she's a mellow, docile cat who doesn't nip or scratch, and she loves lots of petting. Hank playfully inquired what might happen if he stole the cat, and Michelle persuaded him to simply fill out an adoption application, which he did.

We'll bring you the latest on Hank's attempted adoption of New Jersey's favorite overweight cat as it happens.
