7 day Anxiety Relief Challenge:

The right kinds of rest is an essential part to regulating the nervous system enough so that we don’t keep falling for anxious interpretations of symptoms and events.

Day 1: Physical rest breathwork, stillness, sleep, massage.

Physical rest gets us out of the habit of ‘doership’ and into acceptance and allowance which is a key component to anxiety healing.

Day 2: Spiritual rest meditation, deeper connection, prayer, gratitude.

Spiritual rest gives us the opportunity to see beyond the directives of the egoic mind or lower self.

Day 3: Creative rest journalling, painting, playing a musical instrument.

Creative rest takes us out of thinking on the past and future and into the present.

Day 4: Emotional rest surrendering, giving up control, escaping from ‘doership.’

Emotional rest provides us with the opportunity to see that what we feel doesn’t have to act as law in relation to how we act.

Day 5: Sensory rest darkness, focusing your gaze at a distance, less blue light activity.

Sensory rest gives our entire system a break from overstimulation and the fight/flight response.

Day 6: Mental rest sound healing (432 hz), listening to nature, using touch, focusing on breath.

Mental rest helps us to disconnect from our NATS, Negative Automatic Thinking.

Day 7: Social rest engaging with nourishing relationships, saying no more often to people’s demands, building your inner relationship more.

Social rest helps us understand the importance of ‘Self First’ during this time of inner transition towards inner ease.
