There are a number of techniques that will help you memorize any subject material. First, get rid of the stuff that you don't need. Focus just on the material that you need to know. Record yourself doing the pre trip inspection. Teach it to someone else. Use pneumonics, acrostics and acronyms to memorize technical information. Associate the information with subjects and topics you already know. Finally, stick to your sequences and patterns. Start big and move to the details of the subject.
