Please note: Even though we like to explore without a specific destination in mind, we do enough reconnaissance to have good idea of how the area is mapped out, we have active GPS systems, a lot of recovery gear, fulltrauma first aid kits , fuel reserves, abundant food and water supplies, GPS and satellite communication systems, and emergency exit strategies. This allows us to be spontaneous and make route destinations in the moment based on what happens to interest us in the moment.
