While it's a wonderful week of progress at our stone home renovation, it's a bittersweet one, too. As Michael gets to work installing the new floor joists he has to remove the rickety, rustic staircase we've all got a bit of a soft spot for. But, this has only made us more determined to put it to good use somewhere else.
