10 Intuitive Eating Tips To Actually Succeed!

Intuitive eating is hard. It's more than just eating anything and everything then, POOF!, you're an intuitive eater. This episode will give you my top 10 intuitive eating tips to help you actually succeed. These are tips that I have learned from being able to feel confident with intuitive eating, and I want you to do the same!

Tip #1
You do NOT have to eat all of the things.
With the No Food Rules proven approach breaking your food rules systematically is WAY more efficient and effective.

Tip #2
Get familiar with the hunger scale
This is KEY! You need to be able to actually know when your body needs food and when it doesn't. The hunger scale can help you do that. You can find my hunger scale linked in the blog post above.

Tip #3
Do a social media "detox"
Yes. I am aware me using the word detox is funny. But really, clear you feed of negativity. Anyone who makes you feel inferior or gives you comparisonitis has GOT TO GO!

Tip#4
Work on body image too
If ya wanna have a healthy relationship with food, ya GOTTA have a healthy relationship with what you put that food into! I've linked a blog post with 3 simple steps to improve body image in the link above.

Tip #5
Use mantras and affirmations
Mindset work is, like, super important. It will increase your confidence and easy anxiety. You can find a list of my top 20 intuitive eating affirmations linked in the blog post above.

Tip #6
Visualize every night
Sounds silly, but just do it. Every night when you lay down make a mental movie of a full day of intuitive eating. Your brain will store this info and allow it to become cemented, which allows it to become a reality.

Tip #7
Journal.
JOURNAL. I say this all the time. Get those thoughts OUT of your head and onto paper. Then, see what is reality and what isn't.

Tip #8
Get a good support system
Having shoulders to lean (and cry) on is key! Find a group of girlfriends looking to make the same intuitive eating changes in their lives as you are. You'll feel a lot less crazy! Learn more about my group programs at the link above.

Tip #9
Have a plan
Guys, meal planning is GREAT. Don't just say "Oh, I'll eat these mind blowingly amazing foods for every meal!" Let's be practical and plan, okay?

Ask for help
You do NOT have to struggle through this alone! You can find a mentor, get a coach, read a book, etc! Guidance will help you achieve progress FASTER. And that's the goal right? To get your life back fast? I think so.
