After taking a cooking competition in Mexico, I came home inspired to share green rice recipe with my ifood Channel family! Who knew you could make such beautiful, colorful rice with such little effort?

I’m showing you how to make a simple, minimal ingredient version with my own twist.

Bursting with flavor and goodforyou ingredients, this colorful rice complements any basic protein and a variety of Latin, Asian, and African dishes. Spice up your next meal by making Arroz Verde, or green rice! White rice is cooked in broth and a pepper and herb purée resulting in a fluffy and tender rice that is infused with herbs and a little spice. It makes a great side dish to any Mexican dish or just about any protein and veggie.
