YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!! CRISPY CHICKEN TERIYAKI using Breast Fillet | CHICKEN RECIPE

Crispy chicken teriyaki is a delicious dish that combines the crispy texture of fried chicken with the sweet and savory flavors of teriyaki sauce.

INGREDIENTS:
► Breast fillet (1 kg)
► Salt (1 tsp)
► Ground black pepper(1 tsp)
► Garlic powder (2 tsp)
► Cornstarch (1/3 cup)
► All purpose flour (2/3 cup)
► Water (1 cup)
► Oil for cooking

For the sauce:
► Oil
► Ginger (1 tbsp, minced)
► Garlic (35 cloves, minced)
► Soy sauce (1/3 cup)
► Brown sugar (1/4 cup)
► Slurry (cornstarch + water, 1 tbps)
► Honey (1/3 cup)
► Sesame seeds (1 tbps)

FRYING TIPS:

Before frying, dip a TOOTHPICK or bamboo skewer in the oil. If it bubbles, then it is ready.
In coating with FLOUR, make sure all parts of the meat are coated. But DO NOT press the flour into the chicken. Just LIGHTLY cover all the parts.
SHAKE OFF all excess flour to achieve that thin crispy coating after coating.
CORNSTARCH may be the KEY ingredient in making the fried chicken super crispy but do not add too much. Too much cornstarch will make your fried chicken hard instead of crispy.
Cook on MEDIUM HEAT and DO NOT OVERCROWD the pot to maintain the heat of the oil.
DO NOT put your chicken in the flour at the same time. Because the moisture from the meat will make the dry flour WET and will affect the CRISPINESS of the fried chicken.
Put a PAPER TOWEL on the plate so that the dripping oil won't affect the crispiness.
DOUBLE FRYING will make your fried chicken maintain its CRISPINESS.
In making a sauce, set the flame to LOW.
To avoid BURNING, TURN the fried chicken occasionally.
