Kurt Angle is a 1996 Olympic champion, 1995 world champion, and sixtime U.S. national champion freestyle wrestler. He was also twice a U.S. National Collegiate Athletics Association champion. Voted by the NCAA as one of the fifteen best college wrestlers of all time and one of the top five best amateur and Olympic wrestlers, Angle went on to become a professional wrestler with the World Wrestling Federation (later World Wrestling Entertainment).

The 12time world professional heavyweight champion (six titles with Total Nonstop Action, six with WWF/WWE) won all the toplevel titles in the TNA and WWE, and also won four major individual titles in his rookie year as a professional. In 2017, Angle was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame and continues to be involved with their programs in a part time capacity, placing him on a very short list of wrestlers who have achieved such an accomplishment.

A documentary feature film about Angle's life journey, including winning Olympic gold with a fractured neck and defeating addiction, is currently available on Peacock Network!
