Pak Sibaek, master of the Taekwondo martial arts, and Wang Pasan, master of the Jeongmu Taekwondo martial arts, decide to take each other's child and teach them their martial arts styles. But when Sibaek arrives at the Shaolin Buddhist Temple, the Buddhist priest Gongyoung of the school of JeongMu has already been kicked out. Sibaek is accused of playing a part in stealing the Shaolin secret manuscripts and imprisoned according to Jeongmu law. The school of Jeongmu flourishes. When a dispute arises regarding the elder Taesan and his successor, Jimok, Pasan dies and Changryong, Sibaek's son, is on the run after being falsely accused. Wang Ryong, Pasan's son, catches the eye of Buddhist priest Jiyun and focuses on his martial arts training. To protect five generations of Shaolin history, the elder Taesan of the school of Jeongmu plots to incite a fight between Changryong and Ryong by killing their fathers. However, the two sons know of this and slay them in their rage.
