With a draw of over 500,000 protestors, the Moratorium March on Washington, an immense demonstration and teachin against the Vietnam War in 1969, took place 49 years ago today.

However, the antiwar movement is only part of the story. Under the guidance of #BCfamily’s Brooklyn College Department of History professor, author, and director of the Brooklyn College Veterans Oral History Project Philip F. Napoli, we take a look at a lesserknown group who played a vital role in the Vietnam War: women veterans.
