This tutorial demonstrates how to wire your canvas artwork using drings or eye hooks.
My how to frame episode is here:    • Floater frame tutorial  . For this project, the supplies you will need are as follows:

Artwork on canvas
Eye hook or Dring
Picture hanging wire (Coated or uncoated)
Something to measure with (T square ruler or regular ruler)
Something to mark with (pen or pencil)
Optional: drill & drill bit slightly smaller/thinner than the size of the screw
Scissors or something to cut the wire with

Wiring stepbystep

1. Lay your canvas down upside down in the direction you would like it to hang

2. Starting from the top, make a mark about 1/3rd of the way down on each side. If you are using eye hooks, make the mark on the inside of the wooden canvas frame. If you are using drings, make the mark on the back

3. OPTIONAL, use a drill bit slightly thinner than the screw and drill a little hole where you have made your markers. Be careful. Only go a little ways in. Do not go through the canvas.
If your canvas is heavier, your Drings might come with two screws, in which case, just make two holes on each side.

4. Screw in your screws and/or eye hooks where you placed your markers. If you are using a dring, place the dring on the back of the canvas and then screw in your screws through the screw holes. You can use a manual or power screwdriver. If you are using an eye hook, screw it in manually with your fingers. You can use a drill bit or other similar shaped object to assist you.

5. Eyeball measure the wire. Leave enough extra on each side for twisting. I recommend at leaving at least 5 extra inches on each side as it will be easier to handle. Cut off what you need.

6. Do one twist on each side to hold it in place.

7. Tightly twist wrap each side

8. You’re all set to hang
