A few videos back I explained how much I liked and appreciated the Seamless SlideOuts Tiffin used on their RVs. Once Thor Manufacturing purchased Tiffin, those slides were discontinued, but the manufacturer of the slideouts enjoyed hearing how much I appreciated their product, they asked if I'd like to see something new they developed, to replace fabric roller, slide out topper/awnings. While they sent me a link describing the product, I couldn't really appreciate how revolutionary the design was until I saw it in person.
They invited me to stop by and see the presentation at the January FMCA rally in Indio. So needing a break from cross country driving almost nonstop, I checked in to see if the True Topper really is going to solve some of the most common slide out repairs and causes of slide failures: the slide out roller awning. Between torn facrics, broken hardware, wind noise, water leaks, and unpleasant appearance, slide out awnings seem to constantly need help and repair.
