I never thought I would like these late 70s Mopar beasts. I stand corrected. This one year only '79 Chrysler 300 is something special. Sure, it hails from the malaise era, and the "High Performance" 360 churns out all of 195 net horsepower... In spite of that, the engine sounds relatively spicy. After all, it's the same 360 that was found in the Li'l Red Express Truck, and cop cars of that day. And just about everything underneath the car is "cop spec" as well. All of that comes together to make a really interesting car, that at least in theory could do some pretty awesome stuff. Now if only it had brakes...
