I sold my 1948 Dodge Power Wagon. Yeah, I know. It's more than a little disappointing. But the good news is, within the hour I found something to put in its now vacated parking spot! I have a great fondness for 70s Dodge D/W series trucks. I've owned many of them. I love the lines, I love the bird bath hoods, and maybe most of all, I love the engines found under their hoods. I definitely love the rugged dependability. I don't love the unavoidable electrical issues, or the rust holes often found in every single body panel. But the redeeming qualities make up for all of that in my eyes. So on today's episode, I buy this poor abandoned 1977 Dodge D100 pickup that has been sitting in a repair shop's parking lot for the last couple years. I don't need it, I barely have space for it, and I have no plans for it. But the price was right, and... well, just look at it!
