Our journey continues into the towns of TipoTipo, Sumisip, and Maluso; unveiling the island's hidden treasures and discovering potential future tourist hotspots.

And in this episode, we'll be having inspiring conversations with the future of Basilan young leaders who are starting to take their power and voice, in an effort to move away from the culture of violence that has plagued their province for decades.

With me on this trip is veteran conflict journalist Ed Lingao and his wife Esther, who not only cowrote these episodes with me, but also brought along with them laptops and solar lamp donations, as part of The Laptop Project in honor of their late daughter Ellie.

With all the incredible experiences we've gathered, we remain hopeful that peace will endure, paving the way for a brighter future for Basilan.
