There is no better place in America for Black students to find themselves than on the campus of an HBCU. Especially Black children who have ever felt different or like they don’t fit in. HBCUs are your chance to see up close and personal, away from your parents, just how diverse the Black experience really is. Props to Angelina Jolie. She sent Zahara right where she needed to be having grown up in the public eye and as an adopted Black child. A lot of other famous and rich Black parents could learn a thing or two. Send those kids to an HBCU instead of Hollywood or the Ivy League. They need to be ROOTED.
