We think that everything we see is reality, but our brain still plays a very important role in this. Surya Gayet, a brain scientist from Utrecht University, explains why we see the world this way, or rather not 'see' it but hallucinate it. We go out with Surya to ask people for directions. Not because we are lost, but to test whether they understand our switching trick.
