The nervous system loves familiarity, no matter how bad or how good, how promising something might be.

If we let it run on autopilot, it will choose what's familiar.

Learning and understanding this was life changing.

As a result, I became more self compassionate and I was finally able to shift some patterns that seemed to be resistant to (self & assisted) therapy before. :)

In my opinion, nervous system awareness is essential to living well and self empowered.

It should be basic knowledge, taught in schools.

There are many different elements to nervous system awareness and regulation.

If you want to learn more I highly recommend Jessica Maguire.

I've done her 8 weeks indepth “Vagus Nerve Program”. Absolutely loved it and continue to go back to it. :)

I also really like the content of Sarah Baldwin but haven't done any of her trainings (yet). She is one of the few, who talks more about the expansion, about creating and stepping towards the unfamiliar heaven.

Check them out. :)

Let me know in the comments, if you can relate.

Have you experienced moments and situations when it was hard to move towards healthier behaviours?

And/or moments where really good things happening in your life (or about to happen) triggered the shit out of you? ;)

You are not alone.

More videos on this will follow :)
