My 15yearold cat Kate Moss has been a "scaredycat" ever since I adopted her at age 2 months. Although I have only given her love and affection all this time she will still run and hide from me! But Kate Moss has her moments when she overcomes her shyness and lets us know that she cares about us, too. Over the years I have learned to cherish my unique relationship with this sweet but painfully shy kitty.

**Kate Moss suffered a severe eye infection as a kitten, thus one of her eyes is damaged. This might also contribute to her shyness since her vision isn't 100%. That being said, my mother had a totally blind cat who was very friendly and relaxed around people...so who knows what the real reason for Kate's shyness is!**
