Timid Burmese kitten, Luna, would only run from us and hide behind the toilet during her first days home. I started hand feeding her to help her get over her fear and help her start trusting human hands. Eventually she would climb into my lap while I fed her. Today she is still shy with strangers but very friendly and social to everyone in our household. =^..^=
