Airports amaze me.
There’s something exciting and wondrous about them.
When I was a kid, I would be just as excited to go to the airport and fly in a plane, than I was to get to where we were going.

My favourite thing to do in an airport is to people watch.
So many strangers weaving in and out of each other with their own individual destination, their own individual mission, living their own individual story.

I wish I could ask everyone some questions without raising suspicions as to why a strange man wants to know where they are going?
Who or what are they heading to?
And are they heading towards or away from where they call home?

I wonder how often they fly,
Are they feeling excited, nervous, or stressed?
Maybe they travel so much that they are actually feeling bored,
or maybe it’s their first time and are more scared they have been in their life.

I wonder what travel will be like in the future.

I bet 100 years ago, people would have never believed that we would have it so easy getting to places so fast.

Most airports you can travel to over 181 cities, with a plane taking off and landing every 45 seconds, it’s amazing.

Airports are amazing.
They are like an international equivalent of no mans land.
A familiar place.
Where we are all just people of the world,
making our way somewhere.
