Which buffing pad for boats
Using the correct buffing pad is essential to getting good results. We also need to use the right buffer. For boats that is a no load orbital polisher/buffer. I use a Makita 9237. To remove oxidation we need to use a wool pad. Once the Gel Coat is glossy again, we need to switch to a softer blended pad with our polish.
