More Buyers than Sellers

If nobody sold what would happen to stocks? Think about the fundamentals of supply/demand... To transact we need both buyers and sellers; without them we cannot have a market. We have to have a buyer for every seller and that is a thing we need to remember when we're trading. There are never more buyers than sellers; the reason a market goes up is because buyers are more aggressive and are prepared to pay a higher price. There may well be more buyers wanting to buy but the actual transactions will always be 1:1. If no one sold the stock market won't go up.
