Hearing that your father has been diagnosed with cancer is difficult. Being a fulltime college student and parttime caregiver during this time is even more difficult. In addition to managing schoolwork and family, Lex created the business UVA an online cancer support community for cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers. This is her story.

She is a Media and Society Major with a minor in Entrepreneurial Studies. She is an entrepreneur/activist working to change the systems originating and supporting young cancer caregivers. She was a teenage cancer caregiver to a family member.
