Now that 2021 is gone and done, we’re looking back at our houseboat budget to see how well we did budgeting and spending our money when it comes to houseboat expenses. Did we spend too much money on gas? How did paying the houseboat loan, slip fee, houseboat insurance, and property taxes feel now that a year has passed, and is this doable? Were we efficient with our utility usage, and is there room for improvement in our budget with maintenance costs? Are there any areas in our boat budget that we spent less than we expected? And were there any unexpected boating expenses that broke our bank?
