Hey friends, a Lap of Australia would not be complete without driving around Tasmania. This small state has so much to offer, and we've been looking forward to crossing Bass Strait and checking out Tassie for a long time. This is set to be a highlight of our three year Van Life Australia journey.

But first we have to get there. It's either fly, or take the ferry. Of course, living in a van means driving it onto the Spirit of Tasmania ferry for the 10 hour crossing over Bass Strait.

Due to availability, we had to take a day crossing. Will we get seasick? Will we get bored? What will we do for 10 hours?
