What oils are good for your Harley Davidson

If you own a twin cam modified or not, you will understand when I say they are GREAT engines but are noisy. One can claim it's the rockers, some claim it's the pushrods, or the cam. I believe it's all of those things, but I also believe there is a oil out there that can not only quiet it down, but go the distance. Are you going to completely stop the sewing machine sound? Absolutely not but you can make it not so pronounced. Today's video I go through a oil NOT to use, and a couple that I recommend. We think oil is oil right? If you will go back several videos ago you will see I drained the oil in my street glide. The oil i took out had 3,500 miles on it, and was just as clean as the day i put it in. One could argue that it's not cleaning the way it should. I disagree, I believe it was doing its job. It hadn't broken down from heat cycles that harley is known for. The oil that I replaced it with, which you will see in this video, had 800 miles on it. It was black nasty and looks like 8000 miles. Difference? I believe the heat is the difference. Immediately when the oil broke down you could hear the ticking of the twin cam not only come back, but sound like 15,000 sewing machines. Came back with a vengeance! So today we drain that oil out, I show you the oils that I recommend, also change to a different oil and filter. If you wanna know more, watch the video. Enjoy fam! ✌
