Welcome to the first video in our "WIRC Wednesdays" series! Today's topic is about the Illinois Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) and how you can apply. This program is designed to help eligible lowincome individuals with paying their home energy bills.

WIRCCAA administers the program in Hancock, Henderson, McDonough, and Warren counties in western Illinois. This popular program is offered every year from October 1 to May 31.

IMPORTANT!!! If you live outside of our service area, call the National Energy Assistance Referral Project at 18666746327 to learn which agency manages the program where you live.
