I have seen and heard many loud and vocal Northern Cardinals throughout my life. The Cardinals are always up in a tree trying to call nearby birds and Cardinals. Both the male and female Northern Cardinals sing. Cardinals will frequently make loud short high pitched metallic chip sounds repeatedly used to warn off intruders. At least 16 different calls are described for Northern Cardinals a variety of those sounds are included in this video.

Male Northern Cardinals have bright vivid red feathers, while the female has light tan colored feathers with reddish tinges on their wings, tail, and crest. Both males and females have a crest on top of their heads and long tails. Males and females have a blackcolored crest on their face around their thick red bill.

This video includes loud bird calls and sounds with no music.
Some of these sounds and calls may be able to attract birds to your yard.
This video has a variety of bird noises that could attract birds including Northern Cardinals.
