While visiting my brother in Venice Florida, he took me to visit a historical archeological site. I believe it is Florida State owned property (per Google Earth), and is a wellknown American Indian burial ground. A large area has recently been looted, apparently in broad daylight, and witnessed by many people walking near the beach.
