Today’s vlog is a bit different from the usual. I decided to dedicate my day off to helping Erika catch up on some chores around the house. You know, those tasks that were piling up and we just couldn’t find the time for during the week. I thought it’d be a nice surprise, a way to lighten the load and get our house back on track.

BUT as much as I had the best intentions, things didn’t go quite as smoothly as I’d hoped. Tackling the clutter and deciding what stays and what goes turned out to be a bigger deal than I realized. It’s no secret to those who know us well that purging and decluttering is a bit of a sensitive topic for both Erika and me. It’s been a recurring theme in our marriage, and, unfortunately, my attempt to help ended up sparking a bit of a fight between us.

This vlog isn’t just about the chores or the argument, though. It’s about the complexities of marriage, the importance of communication, and understanding each other’s sensitivities. It’s a real look into the challenges we face as a couple when our ideas of help clash with underlying issues.
