Check for this commonly dislodged pipe if you are getting water inside your VW Tiguan. This is a common reason why water will be on the driver’s side carpet or the driver’s seat in a Tiguan. Water stains may also be visible on the driver's side headliner.
The main clip in my VW Tiguan is part number 5N0880385A; this clip is often broken during replacement. The two smaller clips are part number 3C0867333.
If you still have water issues in the driver's side footwell, the next step would be to remove the cowl and wipers to get closer to the drain tube location. This is a more complicated procedure.
